"Adoption of a child"
Is adoption legal or not??? Adoption is a legal process by which a couple takes the responsibility to raise a child who is not biologically related to them as their own. Adoption creates a permanent legal relationship between the adoptive parents and the child. When you adopt a child, the legal rights of the real parents of the child get transferred to you. Additionally, the adopted child has the same rights as any biological child of your own. In short, the child becomes a part of your family. So, adoption is an argumentative topic and there are some people who agree with it whereas others protest against it .In my opinion, adoption is a noble gesture towards society.
On one hand, Couples choose to adopt a baby for a variety of reasons. First, people who suffer from genetic diseases. Others who want to adopt a child of different sex as they already have children of the same sex. Also, couples who have only one child, they adopt a second child to complete their family. In addition to that some couples adopt a baby out of genuine love for children whether they have their own children or not. I agree with adoption of a child can bring untold joys and happiness to your family. Also, you can make a big difference to an orphaned child’s life. Moreover the child gets a parent, family, security, love and happiness and it is a noble gesture towards society.
On the second hand, some people are against adoption. As they believe that adoption is often considered as banned issue in society. Also, your adopted child may want to know his real parents once he or she grows up. Besides the child may never reconcile to the fact that he (or she) was left abandoned at some point of time. Also, there is Fear of how relatives would treat your adopted child .Adoption causes the problem of inheritance.
To sum up , your decision to adopt a child can indeed be one of the most rewarding experiences in your life. Nevertheless, weigh all the positive and negative aspects before you make a decision—have realistic expectations.
